Demand driven pressures and supply constraints could plague Australia’s housing market for the next 40 years, making the great Australian dream of owning a home perhaps just that — a dream.
That’s according to a new housing report out this morning from CEDA which asks the question, “Is it time to let go of the Great Australian Dream?”.
The report comes as the House of Representative Committee on Cities and Infrastructure holds hearings today in Melbourne looking at ‘liveability’ and planning issues in what is Australia’s fastest growing city.
